DEI Team will compete at SEMA and PRI for the National Championship title.

DEI Hot Rodders of Tomorrow - Tulsa Technology TeamDesign Engineering (DEI) is a proud sponsor of the 2015 Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge, a scholarship program for high school shop teams now in its seventh season. This year, DEI’s assigned team from Tulsa Technology Center (Broken Arrow, OK), competed in the Goodguys 5th Spring Lone Star Nationals event March 2022 at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. One of four teams from Tulsa Technology Center, the DEI team qualified for the Dual National Championship playoff with a time of 32 minutes and 16 seconds (32:16). The championship will be decided in competition at the 2015 SEMA show in Las Vegas and the PRI show in Indianapolis.

“This is our third year of supporting the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow scholarship program,” said Tom Miller, DEI vice president of sales and marketing. “It is an excellent program that builds automotive expertise, communication and teamwork in a fun setting. The teams that excel have a passion to compete, and spend hours upon hours of practice to synchronize as a team. DEI congratulates this talented team, their instructor, Gil Blumenthal, and all the parents that are here to support their effort.”

The next scheduled event will be April 10-12 at the Goodguys Del Mar Nationals in Del Mar, CA. There are a total of seven competitions before the championship playoffs – Del Mar, CA; Atlanta, GA; Carlisle, PA; Torrance, CA; Watervliet, MI; Pleasanton, CA and Joliet, IL before the final showdown in Las Vegas and Indianapolis.
